Thailand's leader promised to make new gun rules after a teenager shot and killed eight people and hurt 22 in Bangkok. The boy, 14, first hurt his grandparents at home. Then he went to his school, where he hurt five teachers and himself. Another student also died. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said he wants to make it harder for people to carry guns in public. Only government workers with duty will be allowed to have guns. A police officer said the gun used was the boy's grandfather's. The gun was legal, but the grandfather's bedroom had signs that the gun was hidden there. Thailand has a lot of guns, with 10. 3 million. Many are not allowed.
