After a holiday, short trips can make you feel very relaxed. August comes, and it's summer holiday time for many people in the Northern Hemisphere. This is a chance to get away from daily life. How can we enjoy our holiday the best? Psychology can help us. It tells us about things that can make us feel better. Read this to find out four ways to have a great holiday. First, make a bit of space in your mind. Think about how long your trip is. You might think that the longer you are away, the better, but even a short trip can be good for you. Franziska Speth from Dresden University in Germany did some research. She found that how long your holiday is doesn't really matter much for feeling relaxed.
